About Old One

Mike Cooper and Brandon Howard began writing and rehearsing as a duo in late February of 2007, after the disbandment of Jack-in-Irons. They officially formed Old One on April 1st, 2007, and the next six years yielded several records, a multitude of concerts, and the addition of Bob Cooper to the lineup. Following disbandment on May 3rd, 2013, only Mike Cooper remained, and the future of Old One was uncertain until November of 2024, when he resumed work alongside Heavy Friends.
